I had so much fun from the very start. Me and my family went down on 8/13/10. It was fun. On Saturday, my dad went down and got some breakfast to start the day out. I had a cheese omelet. Then we went to Sunsations. Then to the mini golf place next to the Sunsations. Then afterwards, we went to 7-Eleven to get some milk. I got a slurpie mix. Then a hot dog to go with it from there. Then we went back to the hotel. An hour later, we went to my Aunt Sue's house (from my mother's side of the family) for a family get together. Then we headed back to the hotel with my Uncle Tim, Aunt Melissa, and Grandma Margaret (all on my mom's side). But they only stayed for a little while.
The next day we woke up and once again, my dad headed down later on to get us some breakfast. Last time we could only have orange juice, but this time, we could have milk with it. And that day (Sunday) I had gotten a trio meal with what I believe was scrambled eggs, toast, and bacon. (Sorry if I missed some parts of my meal). Anyway, so after breakfast, we were ready to take my little baby sister Alexandra (Alex) down to the beach for the first time. With the help of my mom, my dad, and my sister. My brother had decided to stay back at the hotel to get some work done from school (he's in all honors in high school but he still didn't go to school during the summer). Anyway, so down at the beach, it was REALLY fun. And I think that Alex had a good time too. And I've got some footage of it with my Sony Handycam. Later on at the end of our visit, at the beach which we could see from our beach view hotel, my dad took Alex down to the water. Not in it. My baby sister was born with brain damage but is okay. Then afterwards, when mom, dad, and Alex came back up to our rented beach chair and tent, I later decided to head back up to the hotel. I got showered and dressed and then probably a half hour later, we headed out to dinner at Ember's Buffet. It was so good. I had 2 plates of food and entrées. Then back up for a chocolate ice cream cone. After dinner, we headed down to the boardwalk. We walked on the boardwalk looking at stores and in stores. Then, on our way heading back, we stopped and got some delicious Polish Ice. Last time I had gotten a blue raspberry shake there. This time I got a blue raspberry water ice. And it was GOOD!! You could probably tell from the blueness of my lips and other areas around it. On and all, I had an excellent night and evening. And day. We had gotten back later to our cold but delightful hotel. Having ridden no rides at the boardwalk but still had fun. We put on Food Network at the hotel. That night was the night of The Next Food Network Star finale. But I wasn't there for it. But I did get to watch it at like 12 o'clock. The reason of why I wasn't there to watch it is that I went to the pool from 9 o'clock to 10 o'clock. 10 o'clock is when it closed. And I went there with my dad and my little sister Amanda. And also my dad brought down my baby sister Alexandra. It was SOOOOO much fun. I went swimming. I went in the hot tub. Then swimming again. Then finally we went back up to the room. By the way we went to an indoor pool. When I had gotten back up stairs, I had watched the premier of The Great Food Truck Race. Then we went down to the second floor and got something to snack on. I got Oreo's. Then later, I had went to sleep. After the second showing of the finale of The Next Food Network Star of course. But after that, I turned on some Nick @ Nite and went to sleep. Oh, and around 11 o'clock, me, my mom, and my sister played the game of Life on my iPod. Anyway, so the next day, it was time to go home. I had been woken up. I had got some Dunkin Donuts' donuts for breakfast that my dad got for us. Later, I got dressed, got my stuff, and brought it out to the car. A little bit later, we were off and waving goodbye to the hotel. We had stopped at the Candy Kitchen across from the street before we left. I got some candy fruit slices there. A little bit down the road and across the bridge, we stopped at a gas station to, well, get some gas. And my dad got us some sodas for the ride home. Anyway, so later, we got to our home in St. Leonard, MD. All safe and sound. It was a great car ride to and from Ocean City, but it couldn't beat the great family time that we had spent together over the coarse of that weekend. That weekend, was truly a great time. And what made it better was enjoying it with loving family members.
