ART OF DYING, SHINEDOWN, AND ADELITA'S WAY LIVE AT RAMS HEAD LIVE!

Music: It's been a part of me since I was only a wee lad.. Too Irish for my nationality. How about: Musik: Es ist schon ein Teil von mir, da ich nur ein kleiner Junge war (Just because my last name is German O_O doesn't mean it's my nationality guys.. Eastern European? Western European? European in general? My father's aside, at least...)

Anyway, now that the fun is over.. wait: The fun might not end up being over yet. There's still time! In real life; not this post.

Art of Dying, Shinedown, and Adelita's Way have been on their Avalanche Tour recently and guess what? The next stop is in Baltimore, Maryland.

Their venue? Rams Head Live.
Will I make it there? Who knows! Can't a man just have some fun for once?

So let's get to the gist of things; the reasoning.

Way back when, at the start of the school year, me, my brother, and my father went to the Bristow, Virginia stop at the 'Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival'. Well, me, my brother, and some of his friends decided to head over to the parking lot venue (for whatever random reason) and the band that we happened to end up catching was Art of Dying. Now, to be fair and honest, I think they were one of the best bands there (aside from Three Days Grace, who are actually friends with A.O.D.). So, it goes without saying, I want to go see them again now that they'll probably be playing a full setlist and so I can see what they're like on the 'main stage'. Plus, I've been into Shinedown for awhile, so it would be nice to be able to see them live. And Adelita's Way is a great band, as well.

So in conclusion, let's just hope that I can go see them tonight. If I do, I will make sure to put them up somewhere on YouTube. But for now, I leave you with embedded clips (from my main channel) of my (partial) experience at the 'Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival'. Stay tuned for updates!

LONG TIME; NO POSTS!

So, as a blogger, I realize that my sole obligation is to keep up with the very pride and joy that is my own blog. Well, sad but true, I have failed to keep up with that sole obligation.

I know! I know:
You can scold me in the comments for such intolerable behavior.

Also, a paragraph later in said comment, try to devise and conjure up a scheduling system for my posts to go by. It would be a win-win situation for everyone! Well; Maybe.. (Not sure if it's a thing yet)

Late Irene Post #5

Well, everybody. Irene is now dead. Great (and late) news... I know. And I've been home, living a normal average life, for a couple of weeks now. Now, to all of you Non-Southern Marylanders, you may think that everybody received power all at once. But that would be wrongful thinking on your half. In fact, most people didn't even get power back until almost exactly a week later! Luckily and thankfully, my neighborhood and most surrounding neighborhoods weren't a part of that mess. But, due to half of the county's power loss, we still had off on days Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. And for those still experiencing it after those days, it was optional to go on Thursday and Friday, I believe. But I still went.
Currently, and obviously, all power has been restored. And me and most of my family were able to head up to my grandmother's trailer in Fenwick Island the following week. With the only problem being car trouble (overheating I believe) from my Uncle and Aunt's car and your unfortunately average Labor Day Weekend Traffic. But we didn't have to worry so much about that until Monday, during the trip home.
So, all is well now on the east coast. Even during what I like to call "Post-Irene Madness Month". But that's just for me and many other's in good ole SOMD. The real question is: "What about you? Were you prepared?"
Post a comment down below fellow east coasters. I'll make sure to read them.

I'm Brendan Fick. And for the 5th and final time, you've just been updated.

IRENE MOVES TO NEW ENGLAND?

Well, as fast as she arrived here, she left. No longer in the mid-eastern states. You would think, with all this land she's acquired, she's dead by now. Well, she's not. Apparently, she's in New England now. Terrifying everyone from New York even to Maine. Imagine how odd it must be for them. Most hurricanes would've died by now. But she just keeps strolling along the East Coast.
So, in conclusion, I would like to advise any New England residents to stay indoors and to keep those eyes glued to The Weather Channel for updates. If you don't have power, then read the endings of my last few posts to understand what you should have.

I'm Brendan Fick, and YOU, yes YOU, New Englanders.... have just been updated.

SOUTHERN MARYLANDERS EXPERIENCING A POWER OUTAGE!

Word on the street is that people living in good ole SOMD are enjoying their evening without power.
Earlier, like an hour or so ago, my brother received a text from one of his friends who was telling him that the power was currently out. I would assume it's from the hurricane earlier. And I believe I'm right.
So, like I wrote before in one of yesterday's posts, you should definitely of kept a flashlight and some candles near by. As well as charging any phones or other electronic devices. Because you'll definitely need them.

So inconclusion of post #3, I wish every Southern Marylander and anyone else experiencing power loss well. Hang in there, everybody.

I'm Brendan Fick, and you've just been, well, updated.

SAFE AND SOUND IN TANEYTOWN!

To escape Irene, me and my family have fled to Taneytown (where she is WAY less angry). To all you North Carolina natives, I hope you're doing ok. Stay indoors at ALL costs. And we'll see you on the other side... Or atleast when it passes.

In the conclusion of Hurricane Irene post #2, stay safe, and as I previously stated, stay indoors.

I'm Brendan Fick, and once again, you've just been updated. B(
